Stickle Tarn
Gorgeous tarn located on a high shelf in the Great Langdale Valley. Stickle Tarn is set in absolutely stunning scenery, with Harrison Stickle and the formidable sheer crags of Pavey Arc as a backdrop.

This is another Lake District tarn that has been enlarged by damming for industrial purposes. Its main outflow is Stickle Ghyll, which cascades down the hillside past the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel and into Great Langdale Beck.
