Crummock Water
Crummock Water is a stunning lake covering the western end of the Buttermere valley, without doubt one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of the Lake District.

At one time Crummock Water was connected to Buttermere, and although now separate, they still form a barrier between the North-Western and Western Fells. On the northern side the lake is bounded by Grasmoor, and on the southern by the the wonderful Mellbreak.
