Walking Log ... Walks including "Hunt Pot"

Hunt Pot
Deep pot hole on the western flanks of Pen-y-ghent. Significantly smaller in diameter and less well known than the nearby Hull Pot, this is still a very attractive spot. Hunt Pot is a fairly small gash in the earth that disappears into darkness.

At 190 feet deep, Hunt Pot should be treated with caution - it can only be approached safely from the nearby path, as on most other sides are steep grassy banks and slippery flat rocks leading directly into the crevice.
