Walking Log ... Walks including "Firth Fell"

Firth Fell
Part of the Old Cote Moor ridge. Birks Fell is the highest point of the ridge at 610m. The whole summit ridge is very flat though and marked with trig points at Firth Fell in the southeast and Horse Head (605m) northwest.

The summit is wild moorland of heather and peat. Great views across Wharfedale and Littondale, including a fine profile of Pen-y-ghent.
