Walking Log ... Walks including "Prison Band"

Prison Band
Prison Band is the western ridge emanating from Swirl How in the Coniston Fells. It descends nearly 600 feet to the col at Swirl Hawse, which connects the main Coniston ridge to Wetherlam.

It is an enjoyable rocky descent, at times requiring the use of all four limbs to negotiate a way up or down.
