Walking Log ... Walks including "Walna Scar"

Walna Scar
The summit of Walna Scar lies just south of the passage it gave its name to, Walna Scar Road. It is the continuation of the Coniston ridge running south from Dow Crag. The summit is a broad grassy hump, decorated with a meagre cairn of just a few stones. The fell doesn't merit distinction as a Wainwright, but it lays claim to being the highest of his Outlying Fells.
