Tarn At Leaves
A moderate sized tarn located high up on Rosthwaite Fell. It is situated between the two recognised summits of Rosthwaite Cam and the much closer Bessyboot. The outflow runs south east down to Langstrath Beck.

Lovely tarn, with a slightly unusual name (for some inexplicable reason the name is the only point of merit according to Wainwright) - it is set in a dip amongst fantastic scenery of small hillocks and rocky outcrops. Best viewed from Bessyboot, where it has an impressive backdrop of Rosthwaite Cam and Combe Head.
