Walking Log ... Walks including "Adam Seat"

Adam Seat
Southern shoulder of its parent, Harter Fell, Adam Seat stands at the very top end of the Longsleddale valley. The fell is mainly grass covered with easy slopes. There are good views across to Branstree and Tarn Crag.

The summit is adorned with a small outcrop of rock and is marked with a three foot high stone slab inscribed with 'H' on one side and 'L' on the other ... a headstone, maybe ??? Not a Wainwright, but Bill Birkett found it worthy of note.
