Walking Log ... Walks including "Brennand Tarn"

Brennand Tarn
A small tarn in the Forest of Bowland, located in the main depression between Whins Brow and Brennand Great Hill.

This is a fairly lonely place and seldom visited. It is surrounded by rough, and more often than not, boggy moorland, with only sketchy paths leading to it. Any walk including it will most likely involve a reasonable amount of effort.

Although a small body of water in the grand scheme of things, it is large in Bowland terms as there are relatively few tarns of this size in the whole AONB.
