Walking Log ... Walks including "Churn Clough Reservoir"

Churn Clough Reservoir
A popular angling spot, Churn Clough Reservoir is a small body of water on the southern slopes of Pendle Hill. It nestles between the Nick of Pendle, Deerstones, and the village of Sabden.

It was first opened in 1892 and extended by 5 feet in 1920. In times of extreme drought, water has been taken from it to re-fill the Ogden Clough reservoirs that feed Nelson.

Churn Clough was aquired by the Colne Water Angling Club in 2001.
