Walking Log ... Walks including "Lantys Tarn"

Lantys Tarn
A small body of water named after the one time owner, Lancelot Dobson. He was a local man from a family of some means. I've been reliably informed by one of his descendants that he took to living in a nearby cave after gambling away the family fortune.

A naturally ocurring pond, it was enlarged by the erection of a small dam.
